About Fallen Branches
This is the family tree of the Godier/Southon/Freitag/Taylor families who were all
born in and around the London area. The Godier family were French Huguenot refugees
and the Freitag family were of Jewish descent who came to the UK to escape
persecution for being Jews and had to endure being put into internment camps on the
Isle of Man as potential enemy agents, so the freedom they initially sought was
denied them in the onset of WW1. The Taylors were from the Islington area of London
and researches are still ongoing. I have discovered many distant relatives all over
the world in connection with the families mentioned. The research was started in Oct
2006 and is still ongoing and will be for a number of years to come.
